Co-Directors Téllez and Mosqueda
Professors Téllez and Mosqueda are the founding co-directors of CRECE. Their commitment to educational equity and valid evaluations is evident in their research, practice, and service. Both Téllez and Mosqueda are former K12 public school teachers, and their experiences working directly in under-resourced schools informs their work today. They believe that resources aimed at marginalized communities, whose needs have been identified by empirical tools, make a significant difference in the life chances our most fragile children and youth. Their combined experience in evaluations totals more than 50 years and 30 comprehensive evaluations.
